Nearest Recycling Centre
The nearest recycling centre to Milford Haven is called "Winsel Waste and Recycling Centre." This is about 1½ miles form Haverfordwest on the road linking Merlins Bridge to Tiers Cross. They will accept many types of waste but this should be sorted into categories prior to disposal. Visits are free but must be pre-booked. Opening times/days vary seasonally, orange bags and certain items are not accepted. For opening times and further information, visit the council website www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk

Recycling Bins
Specific types of recyclable waste can be placed in special bins at Tesco, Manchester Square and Spikes Lane car parks. Some of the local Charity Shops will also accept "resellable" donations.

Large Items of Domestic Waste
Pembrokeshire County Council offer a removal and disposal service for large items of domestic waste e.g. broken beds or damaged tables. You have to specify the items, their location and make payment in advance. See their website for guidance on the number/nature of items that can be removed.

Extra bags, bins, Boxes and Caddies
Rationed and subscription bags can only be obtained from Pembrokeshire County Council. Clear degradeable food waste bags to use inside your green caddy can be requested by leaving a note on your green caddy. Some Pembrokeshire libraries and leisure centres may be able to provide certain containers and food bags. You may need to contact the council for other items.

Business Waste and Recycle Collection
Subscription and prepaid business waste and recycling services are also available from Pembrokeshire County Council or waste disposal firms. Businesses using the council's waste and recycling services are likely to use different containers - including large food waste caddies, large glasswaste caddies, hired-wheelie bins, prepaid bin-bag labels, prepaid blue general waste bags, prepaid clear recyclable waste bags, etc.
