The colour codes used by some wall plug manufacturers are not standard. For this reason, I recommend measuring your plugs whenever size is important. The size colours described below are only examples "drill sizes" to "screw size" conversion is usually reasonably accurate for non structural applications. Drill sizes may not correspond to drill hole diameters!

Plug sizes vary - if in doubt try .5 undersize on first hole (it is easier to enlarge a hole than to shrink it) Try to use screws in middle of size range for plug.
