It is easy to confuse tha locations of England and United Kingdom. Although England refers to itself as a country, it is only part of the intentaionally recognised country called "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northen Ireland" (Usually abbrevieted to United Kingdom or UK.) England is coloured light green on the map at the top of this page. This section of my website concentrates on England. Most (but not all) of the content also applies to Wales but it is less reliable when visiting Scotland and Northen Ireland.
