This function uses the NuGet package NAudio to play a .wav sound recording. Follow these instructions to add the NuGet package to your project. You will only have to do this once - the link to NAudio will be saved when you close the project.

• Open your project for editing in the normal way
• Click on Project
• Click on Manage NuGet Packages
• Click on the Browse tab
• Type NAudio into the search box
• Click on the NAudio entry which does not have a dot & more text
• Ensure Version is set to Latest Stable
• Click on Install
• If you get a message ..about to make changes... then click on apply
• Close the NuGet tab

The following function will now play .Wav files

 Dim waveOut1 As New NAudio.Wave.WaveOut()
 Dim audioFile As New NAudio.Wave.AudioFileReader(filename)
 waveOut1.Init(audioFile)
 waveOut1.Play()
