Bus Routes Serving Milford Haven

Train Lines Serving Pembrokeshire

- Clunderwen and Clarbeston road are request stops. Trains will not stop unless you either tell the guard or can be seen waiting on the platform.
- Milford Haven, Fishguard Harbour and Pembroke Dock are terminal stations at at the end of their lines.
- Most Pembrokeshire train services travel towards Manchester.
Pembrokeshire Taxis


- Local Taxis are normally licenced by Pembrokeshire County Council
- It may be permissable for a taxi registered in a distant county to operate in Pembrokeshire but this is very unusual. Vehicles from neighbouring counties are sometimes seen near the county boundaries.
- Pembrokeshire taxis should display a white or yellow taxi plate on rear of the car, they usually advertise the taxi company telephone number and they often display a Pembs Taxi symbol on the door
- Taxis should be fitted with a taxi fare meter. If you have agreed a fixed price for a journey, the driver may switch off the meter
- The word Taxi is sometimes spelt Tacsi. This is because the alphabet used by the Welsh language does not include the letter X
- There are two types of "normal" taxi.
- Hackney Carriage - can either pick up passengers from the roadside or accept bookings
- Private Hire - can only carry pre-booked passengers

- Fishguard to Rosslaire - Stenna Line (www.StenaLine.co.uk) operate a twice daily ferry service from Fishguard Harbour to Rosslaire in Ireland. The ferry accepts foot passengers and vehicles (including HGV.)
- Pembroke Dock to Rosslaire - Irish Ferries (www.IrishFerries.com) operate a twice daily ferry service from Pembroke Dock to Rosslaire in Ireland. The ferry accepts foot passengers and vehicles (including HGV.)
